Chalice Christian has embarked on a monthly interview series. Each month (usually on the last Sunday of each month though schedules will force that to vary somewhat) our pastor, Gerry Brague, interviews someone about their faith journey and spirituality. This month we heard from Rev. Tom Harshman. Tom is a member of Chalice and is, like Gerry, ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). He grew up in the Methodist church and in this interview talks about his journey from that denomination into ours. We also hear about the connection he makes between his sexuality and his spirituality. Tom serves as chaplain and spiritual life director at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, CA. (Unfortunately, the last question and response did not get recorded. Thus the interview ends rather abruptly.)
